Zuma is back in Ras Al-Khaimah for its second season. Adding to the allure of The Ritz-Carlton, Al Wadi Desert, this limited-time pop-up brings Zuma’s iconic modern Japanese izakaya experience right into the heart of the desert. Following the success of its debut in 2024, Zuma has returned to the serene Al Wadi Desert dunes for its second seasonal pop-up, reopening on December 5, 2025, at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert.

The pop-up unfolds across two distinct levels within the resort’s beautifully renovated setting. The rooftop terrace offers a refined open-air space made for sunset gatherings, where guests can take in uninterrupted views of the rolling dunes as the sky shifts in colour. Below, the main restaurant opens directly onto the sand, creating a dining experience that feels completely entwined with nature. From the table, it’s not uncommon to see gazelles or camels crossing the landscape, adding to the sense of escape and authenticity.

As night falls, the desert transforms. Fire pits glow softly beneath the stars, casting warm light across the terrace and creating an atmosphere at once dramatic and serene. The space feels elemental yet elevated. An elegant contrast of raw desert beauty and Zuma’s signature sophistication.

The return of the world renowned Zuma restaurant to The Ritz-Carlton, Al Wadi Desert in Ras Al Khaimah reflects the emirate’s growing reputation as a exemplary destination of choice for dining, travel and outdoor experiences.
